Parineeti Chopra, who was last seen in Jabariya Jodi, is set to don the character of badminton icon Saina Nehwal in her next. She has been getting into the skin of her character by getting into method acting for the same. She suffered a severe neck injury which halted the shooting of her portions for 11 days.
A source close to an online portal has revealed, “Parineeti is back to full fitness and she has got an all-clear to play badminton again. Her return to action is timely because she has an intense shoot schedule ahead. Pari will need to ace the game on the court now because she is going to shoot portions that will involve her playing badminton for eight hours at a stretch.”
According to the latest news, the actress has regained her health overcoming all the wounds. She is all set to make a comeback on the ground as the makers resume the shoot.
The movie was previously been shot by Shraddha Kapoor but she later got replaced by Parineeti Chopra. The actress was contacted by the same online portal, to which she replied, “Yes, this is accurate information. I’m a 100 per cent fit now and I can’t wait to step into the badminton court and play the game again. I thank my entire Saina team for their invaluable support and my medical team for making me heal so quickly and getting me back on the court.”
