Varun Dhawan is busy shooting for father David Dhavan’s Coolie No. 1. Recently while shooting for a scene on Sunday, Varun escaped from a major accident when he got stuck inside a car hanging off a cliff when the doors of the car got jammed.
The film is currently being shooting in the outskirts of Pune. Varun was required to do some close-up shots inside a car as it hung off the cliff.
If we believe on an onlooker’s statement, Varun realised that the car door gt jammed during the shoot.
According to the sources, although the stunt was rehearsed under the supervision of the stunt coordinator several times with all the safety precautions by the experts things didn’t go as expected.
“What followed was a few minutes of dread for everyone present on the set. It was proving to be all the more difficult given how precariously the car was balanced on the edge. Varun being the cool master, kept his calm and was finally pulled out with the assistance of a stunt coordinator,” a source said.
Varun along with Sara Ali Khan will been seen in the remake of Govinda’s 1995 film with the same title. The film will hit the theaters in May 1, next year.
