Parineeti Chopra To Collaborate With Dinesh Vijan For A Musical Film Set In The United Kingdom

Parineeti Chopra has made a name for herself in Bollywood. Despite being a cousin of Priyanka Chopra, she had her own journey and has carved a niche for herself. In her successful career, she has acted in several critically acclaimed and commercially successful films in a variety of genres. Recently, she was in the news for her engagement with politician Raghav Chaddha.

Now it has come to light that Parineeti will be working with Maddock Films chief Dinesh Vijan. Earlier, she was supposed to star in Shiddat 2 along with Sunny Kaushal. However, date issues led to her leaving the project. She was replaced by Wamiqa Gabbi in that film. However, both Parineeti and Dinesh talked about collaborating on a future project.

It turns out, Parineeti will be doing a women-led musical film set in the United Kingdom. The film is backed by Dinesh and reportedly its filming is scheduled to start around the month of October this year. Its pre-production will kickstart next month. While the title and director names have not been revealed, Parineet is excited about the project as she really liked the idea. Anupam Kher has also been approached to play a supporting role.

Parineeti To Shoot The Film Before Her Wedding

Earlier this year, Parineeti got engaged to Raghav Chaddha. The couple has planned to tie the knot in November 2023. She will be shooting the film before the wedding takes place. Apart from this film, Parineeti is also doing The Great Indian Rescue, co-starring Akshay Kumar. The film is based on the 1989 Raniganj coalfield incident and it will release on 5 October. She has also done Imtiaz Ali’s Amar Singh Chamkila, which stars Diljit Dosanjh as the titular Punjabi singer. It will drop on Netflix next year.

Maddock Films Lineup

Recently, Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films unveiled a lineup of 15 films. These include Aditya Nimbalka’s Sector 36, Pooja Meri Jaan, which will be directed by Navjot Gulati and co-directed by Vipasha Arvind, Sarvgunn Sampann, Murder Mubarak, Rumi Ki Sharafat, Munjya, Tehran, IKKIS, Chhaava, Stree 2, Bhediya 2 and VOV – Vampires Of Vijay Nagar. All these movies have generated a lot of buzz among audiences on the internet.
