In a recent update Yash Raj Film is making a film based on 1862’s Maharaj Libel Case that will be directed by Hichki fame Siddharth P Malhotra. According to the information the film is written by Vipul Mehta and Sneha Desai.
While other than typical YRF film, this new project will be added in the list of medium budget dramedy to its illustrious lineup.
While no cast has been finalised yet there is buzz that Parineeti Chopra has been roped in for the project.
The yet to be titled film is said to be a light-hearted drama and will feature Chopra in an altogether different avatar.
Filmmaker Sharat Katariya who has a long association with Aditya Chopra is expected to helmed the film. It is said that he is currently giving the finishing touch to the script and will start the pre-production early next year.
Parineeti Chopra, who is currently busy with Amole Gupte’s Saina Nehwal biopic will only focus on other projects after this.
