Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan made headlines on Friday when he decided to ditch his car and take the Mumbai metro to work. The actor, who is dating singer Saba Azad, shared pictures of his metro ride on his Instagram account, where he can be seen posing with his fans and enjoying the public transport.

Hrithik Roshan, who is currently shooting for an action film, said that he took the metro to avoid traffic and save his back for the stunts. He also praised the metro service for a spectacular experience for being able to beat the heat and traffic.
He wrote, “Took the metro to work today. Met some really sweet n kind folks. Sharing with you the love they gave me. The experience was spectacular. Beat the heat + the traffic. Saved my back for the action shoot I’m going for.”

The actor’s fans were delighted to see him on the metro and requested him for selfies, which he happily obliged. Some of them also complimented his casual look of a black T-shirt, jeans and a HRX cap. One of them commented, “Wow, you are so humble and down to earth.” Another one said, “You are an inspiration for all of us.”
Hrithik Roshan’s metro ride also reminded some of his fans of his father Rakesh Roshan’s strict upbringing. The veteran filmmaker had revealed in an interview that he made Hrithik Roshan travel in autos, taxis and buses with other assistant directors when he was working on Karan Arjun in 1995. He said that he wanted his son to learn the value of hard work and money.

Hrithik Roshan’s girlfriend Saba Azad also grabbed attention recently with her energetic performance at Lakme Fashion Week. The singer and actor, who is part of the pop band Madboy/Mink with Imaad Shah, sang and danced at the show of designers Paras and Shalini. However, she also faced some trolls who called her “mad” and “weird” for her dance moves. Saba Azad hit back at them with witty replies on her Instagram stories.
Hrithik Roshan and Saba Azad have been dating for a few months now and have been spotted together at various events. The couple has not officially confirmed their relationship yet, but their fans are eagerly waiting for them to do so.

Fighter is being touted as India’s first aerial action film. It also stars Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor and Karan Singh Grover in pivotal roles. The film was announced in January 2021, but the pre-production was delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The film’s shooting finally began in November 2022.
Fighter was originally scheduled for release on September 3, 2022, but was delayed due to the production delays owing to pandemic. After multiple postponements, it is finally scheduled to release in theatres on January 25, 2024, coinciding with Republic Day.
