Bollywood actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Rajinikanth, Anupam Kher, and Hema Malini shared their thoughts on turning India into a global entertainment powerhouse.

The summit also brought together top business leaders like Mukesh Ambani, Satya Nadella, and Anand Mahindra. Their discussion focused on expanding India’s creative industry on a global scale.
The event also featured music legends AR Rahman and Diljit Dosanjh, along with South Indian superstars Chiranjeevi and Mohanlal. Their presence showed the summit’s aim to unite talent across the country.

PM Modi first introduced the WAVES Summit in December 2024, calling the entertainment industry a key driver of India’s cultural and economic growth. He explained how Indian films, TV shows, and creative content in multiple languages are shaping global narratives.
The initiative has received strong backing from Bollywood stars like Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kuma who see it as a game-changer for India’s creative industry.
