Alia Bhatt, the popular Bollywood actress, has recently responded to her reference in the trailer of Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming movie, Jawan. In the trailer, when Shah Rukh Khan is asked “Tumhe chahiye kya,” he cheekily responds, “Chahiye toh Alia Bhatt”. The dialogue caught the attention of netizens and fans of both actors. Alia Bhatt has now responded to the remark on her Instagram Stories. Both actors are known to share a great rapport in the film industry.
Alia Bhatt Reacts To Shah Rukh Khan’s Dialogue In The Trailer
Alia Bhatt, the National Award-winning actress and producer, has not only reacted to her reference in Jawan trailer but also expressed her admiration for Shah Rukh Khan and his upcoming action thriller Jawan. She shared the trailer of Jawan and wrote in the caption, “Aur poori duniya ko chahiye sirf SRK!!! @IAMSRK What a fabulous fabulous trailer… 7th September is tooooo far away…”.
Alia’s reaction came after a scene in the Jawan trailer, where Shah Rukh’s character, who has hijacked a metro compartment, is asked by a cop, “What do you want?” He cheekily replies, “Chahiye to mujhe Alia Bhatt.” The dialogue went viral on social media and fans were curious to know Alia’s response.
Alia Bhatt And Shah Rukh Khan’s Previous Collaborations
Alia and Shah Rukh have shared the screen space in Gauri Shinde’s 2016 slice-of-life film Dear Zindagi, which was also co-produced by Shah Rukh’s Red Chillies Entertainment. The banner also backed Alia’s debut film, Karan Johar’s 2012 campus caper Student of the Year, and they both produced Jasmeet K Reen’s Netflix India dark comedy Darlings together from last year.
At the trailer launch of Darlings, Alia revealed that Shah Rukh had offered to co-produce the film for her. “Shah Rukh told me, ‘I usually don’t co-produce but I will do it for you, for the memories.’” Alia said.
Jawan Trailer And Release Date
Jawan, directed by Atlee and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, is one of the most anticipated films of the year. The trailer, which was released today, has received rave reviews from critics and audiences alike. The film promises to be a high-octane action thriller with a lot of entertainment.
The film also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Sunil Grover, Yogi Babu, and Ridhi Dogra among others. It will release in cinemas in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on September 7.
Jawan is directed by Atlee Kumar, who is known for his blockbuster films in Tamil cinema such as Theri, Mersal and Bigil. The film is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment.
