Prabhas’ action film Salaar goes over budget by 40 crores? Details here!

Salaar is said to have gone over budget by 20%. It's a 40-crore increase over the film's reported budget of 200 crores.

Salaar is Prabhas’ first cooperation with KGF director Prashanth Neel, hence high expectations are high for the film. After a flop like Radhe Shyam, the Darling actor is in desperate need of a major smash, and Neel has raised his bar after KGF Chapter 2. While there have been little information released from the camp, the most recent news is that the film has gone over budget, and here’s everything you need to know.

It was mentioned a few days ago that the film was undergoing significant alterations. Two action sequences were apparently altered by Neel in order to make them large and present in a never-before-seen style. Neel wants to take KGF Chapter 2 to the next level with Prabhas’ actioner because it was a much bigger success than predicted.

According to Track Tollywood, Hombale Films has increased the budget for Salaar, which the producers are pleased with. Both Prashanth Neel and Prabhas will give a blast for fans, according to producer Vijay Kirgandur.

“We set the bar very high for Salaar. We have Prabhas, India’s No. 1 film Baahubali Hero along with No.2 film KGF director Prashanth Neel,” Vijay shared.

Salaar is said to have gone over budget by 20%. It’s a 40-crore increase over the film’s reported budget of 200 crores. Even though Vijay Kirgandur did not explicitly affirm it, he implied that they would spend the extra money to make their film perfect. “The combination has created buzz and we set the bar so high, will try our best and achieve something big with Salaar The Saga,” he added.
