Preity Zinta is presently occupied with living her best life. She and her husband Gene Goodenough adopted twins Gia and Jai last year through surrogacy. Recently, they celebrated their first birthdays and posted tidbits of the festivities online. The actress relocated to the US after being married to Gene. Meanwhile, the new mother shared her memories of her time spent on the Soldier set, which also starred Bobby Deol, on Instagram on Sunday afternoon.
With Bobby and the rest of the team, Preity showed them a clip from the movie while recalling happy memories. She remembered in her piece how, when filming the finale scene, she was forced to leave the set for more than a week because of exams. Also thanking Bobby for “getting her into the movies,” the actress said.
Her message said, “Soldier was my second release but the first film I signed. I was so confused that I would be working with two directors with one name Thank you Abbas Bhai & Mustan Bhai for never letting me falter. Thank you Rameshji for this opportunity & for not getting upset with me for leaving set for more than a week to take my psychology exams during the climax shoot in Rajasthan. Thank you Bobby for being you & for bringing me into the movies & thank you to the entire cast n crew for so much fun during the Australia & Rajasthan schedules. I will always miss you Saroj ji You taught me how to be a Heroine.”
Abbas-Mustan was the director of the 1998 movie Soldier, which was released in theatres. Rakhee Gulzar, Farida Jalal, and Johnny Lever all had significant parts in the movie. The actress, meantime, recently tweeted sweet birthday messages for Gia and Jai. She dropped adorable photos of them without showing their faces. She received a lot of love for the photos from her followers and professional friends.
