Box Office Worldwide has exclusively learned that Veer Pahariya’s next film is an official remake of Premalu and is gearing up to go on floors with a marathon schedule in the capital. The makers have locked a 45-day shooting stint in Delhi, which begins next week, making it one of those old-school, packed schedules designed to wrap major portions in one go.
Aafia Syed, who will be launched as the female lead, is Sajid Nadiadwala’s niece, adding an industry-insider edge to the casting. The film is being mounted as a youth-facing commercial entertainer, and the fresh pairing is clearly meant to be the selling point, with Pahariya moving from an action-driven debut into a more romance-forward space.
Backing the project is producer Gaurav Varma, known for heading Red Chillies Entertainment earlier in his career, and also credited as a co-producer on Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan.
