The government has allowed the filmmakers to resume the shoot with necessary permission for the shoot.
While some filmmakers are considering resuming the shoot some are still concerned with the safety. However, Priyadarshan who is making his comeback with Hungama 2 is forced to resume the shoot because of his four child artists.
Well, according to the information the director is in a unique situation.
Talking about the situation in an interview Priyadarshan told that the children aged between eight and eleven. The children are growing steadily in height and their physical changes can create continuity issues.
The team will resume the shoot by September 15 and the crew will travel to Kullu and Manali for the final 15 days schedule.
“At this age, children grow up rapidly; there are changes in facial structure and height. While the physical changes that have happened in the past four months will not make a huge difference on screen, it will be difficult to retain continuity if we have to wait for some more months. Fortunately, only a song has to be shot with them,” he said.
Producer Ratan Jain said that the Kullu and Manali government had given their thumbs up to the shoot with guidelines in place.
“The songs and sequences require us to film on the streets of Kullu and Manali. Considering an outdoor schedule is not possible during the monsoon, we are likely to resume work from September 15,” Ratan added.
Hungama 2 stars Shilpa Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Pranitha Subhash and Meezaan.
