Will Pushpa 2’s Unstoppable Run Continue As It Completes 50 Days & Nears Rs 2000 Crore At The Box Office?

Pushpa 2: The Rule has completed 50 days in theatres. The film is still running strong across 500 cinemas.

Pushpa 2: The Rule continues to perform well at the box office, completing 50 days in theatres. At a time when most films wrap up their runs within a month, this film has managed to sustain its momentum.

Starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, it released on December 5, 2024 and remains popular among audiences.

Pushpa 2 Is Still Running In Around 500 Cinemas

Trade reports suggest that the film is still running in around 500 cinemas, including both fixed and shifting screens. In Telugu states, over 20 centres continue to screen the film without any changes.

As it nears the Rs 2,000 crore mark, Pushpa 2 is on track to become one of India’s highest-grossing films.

Makers Recently Added 20-Min Footage For Continued Run In Theatres

The makers recently added 20 extra minutes to the film, calling it Pushpa 2 Reloaded. This update gave a boost to its collections, particularly in Telugu-speaking regions. Released after Sankranti, the extended version performed well and even surpassed other major releases like Game Changer on platforms like BookMyShow.

Another factor behind the film’s extended run is the delayed digital release. Producers announced that the film would not be available on streaming platforms until 56 days after its theatrical release. This strategy has drawn more audiences to cinemas, particularly in northern states.

Directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, the film features music by T-Series. With its continued success, fans are set to celebrate the 50-day milestone at special events in Hyderabad.
