Raaj Shaandilyaa is cooking up a fresh comedy that could be Bollywood’s next big hit. Following the success of Dream Girl and Dream Girl 2, he’s now focusing on Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. This film stars Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri, and its trailer has already caught everyone’s attention with its clever lines and humorous moments.
But that’s not all. Raaj is also developing a new comedy project for Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty. Is this new script set to capture the same magic as Hera Pheri? Raaj hints that it will have a similar feel, promising a three-character comedy filled with chaos and laughs.

In his chat with Pinkvilla, the director shared the details about his plan. He said, “I was also discussing Hera Pheri 3 with Akshay Kumar, but things didn’t work out and I moved on to Dream Girl 2. I didn’t understand the plot they had for Hera Pheri 3 back then, but, ever since then, I have been developing a subject for Akshay Kumar. I will narrate it to him very soon”
Raaj Shaandilyaa further explained that his new project will be similar to Hera Pheri. It’s a three-character comedy packed with chaos, featuring Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty. He believes this script captures the essence of what made Hera Pheri so enjoyable.
Raaj also mentioned that the comedy will be grounded and relatable, just like Hera Pheri. He emphasised that the key to a successful comedy is creating characters that resonate with the audience. It’s these relatable characters that truly make people laugh.

Meanwhile, Raaj is not only scripting but also producing a range of comedies, including a film with Sanjay Dutt. His upcoming release, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, set to hit theatres on October 11, 2024, is generating excitement as a family entertainer.
