The makers of Race 4 have finally addressed all the buzz around the film’s casting. Social media has been flooded with names, but producer Ramesh Taurani has confirmed that only Saif Ali Khan and Sidharth Malhotra are the actors in talks.
Race 4 Makers Shut Down Casting Rumours
The film is still in the scripting stage. No other actors have joined the cast yet. Taurani released an official statement from Tips Films.
The statement reads:
“We would like to clarify that we are currently in discussions only with Saif Ali Khan and Sidharth Malhotra for the next installment of the Race franchise (Race 4), which is currently in its scripting phase. No other male or female actors have been approached at this stage. We sincerely request the media and social media pages to avoid engaging with false news and to wait for an official confirmation from our PR team.”
This update comes after several false reports made headlines. Some reports claimed that Harshavardhan Rane would play the villain. Another one suggested Rakul Preet Singh had joined the cast opposite Saif.
A source had told India Today, “Rakul is set to team up with Saif Ali Khan for an exciting new project under Ramesh Taurani’s banner.” The report also credited her casting to the success of Mere Husband Ki Biwi.
However, the producer has now denied all these claims and asked everyone to wait for official updates.

The Race franchise started in 2008 with Saif Ali Khan and Akshaye Khanna in lead roles. The film mixed action, glamour, and betrayal in a thrilling story. The movie became a hit and gave way to two sequels – Race 2 and Race 3. Each one added more drama, bigger stunts, and new faces.
Race 4 is expected to bring a fresh storyline and even more action. If all goes well, Saif might return to the slick and twisted world once again. If finalised, this will mark Sidharth’s first appearance in the franchise.
The rest of the cast is still under wraps. The makers have urged fans and media to stay away from rumours and wait for confirmed news from the team.
Meanwhile, Saif will be seen next in a Netflix heist thriller that drops on April 25. Siddharth Anand is producing the project. Jaideep Ahlawat also stars in the film.
