Renowned actress Radhika Apte has been added to the impressive ensemble cast of Sriram Raghavan’s eagerly awaited movie, Merry Christmas. Alongside Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif, Radhika will make a significant cameo appearance in this captivating suspenseful film. This partnership signifies their third collaboration, as they previously worked together on the successful films Badlapur and Andhadhun.

According to a tweet from a journalist, it appears that Radhika Apte will be making a cameo appearance in the upcoming film featuring Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi. However, specific information about Radhika’s character in the movie is being kept confidential. Originally scheduled to hit theaters in December 2022, the release of Merry Christmas has been postponed to December 2023. The exact release date has not yet been disclosed by the filmmakers.

Postponement Of Merry Christmas

According to a source, the decision to change the release date of Merry Christmas was not solely due to avoiding clashes with Rohit Shetty’s film Cirkus, starring Ranveer Singh, and Ganapath, featuring Tiger Shroff. While those reasons would have been valid if the film had been completed on time, unfortunately, plans were disrupted when Katrina Kaif tested positive for Covid-19 in June.

A crucial shooting schedule of approximately 30 days had been planned, involving not only Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi but also other actors. After Katrina’s positive test result, it took some time for the makers to reschedule and coordinate everyone’s availability.
