Shilpa Shetty’s husband and businessman Raj Kundra was arrested by Mumbai police late Friday night, according to reports. Raj was arrested for making p*rnographic films and distributing them through several applications. Raj “appears to be the key conspirator” in the scam, according to the Mumbai Crime Branch’s statement.
Now, he and another man, Ryan Tharp, have been brought before a Mumbai court and sentenced to three further days in judicial prison.

Raj Kundra and another defendant were taken before a Mumbai court today, according to ANI. “Actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband & businessman Raj Kundra and one Ryan Tharp brought to Mumbai’s Esplanade Court. Kundra was arrested yesterday while Tharp was arrested today in connection with a case relating to the production of p*rnographic films.”

Raj Kundra was taken to JJ hospital by the Property Cell of Mumbai Police’s Crime Branch after his arrest on Monday. Both Ryan Tharp and Kundra are currently being held in judicial custody until Friday.
The Mumbai Police detained a gang of five persons in February this year for making adult films and reportedly forcing women to star in them. Sagarika Shona Suman, a model and actress, had filed a FIR at the time, alleging that Raj Kundra and two others requested she give them a n*ude audition through a zoom call in order to earn a role in a web series.
