Filmmaker SS Rajamouli has been nurturing his dream of making a film on Indian epic Mahabharat for a long time. Having called it his dream project several times over the last few years, he has now revealed that if he gets to make Mahabharat, he would want to make it into 10 parts to fully do justice to it.
Recently, it was announced that Rajamouli is bringing together Deepika Padukone along with Jr NTR and S S Rajamouli for his 10-part project Mahabharat. During the promotions of his last film RRR, Rajamouli had said that he will give a spin on the original Mahabharata in his own way and will only come to the casting part after he finishes writing the script. Rajamouli has also mentioned that it would take him at least a year to read every version of Mahabharat currently available in the country.
The announcement of Deepika Padukone joining the cast of Mahabharat has created a buzz in the industry. Padukone is known for her versatile acting skills and has delivered some of the biggest hits in Bollywood. Her addition to the cast has raised the expectations of the audience and fans are eagerly waiting for the shoot of the film.

SS Rajamouli’s previous films, Baahubali and RRR, have been massive hits and have set new benchmarks in Indian cinema. Deepika Padukone’s Line Up:
Deepika Padukone will finish shooting Siddharth Anand’s Fighter opposite Hrithik Roshan soon as she has finished couple of schedules of the film. Film will release next year on Republic Day. She will also be part of cop universe of Rohit Shetty and will be seen next year in Singham 3. She will also be seen in cameo in Shah Rukh Khaj Starrer Jawan.
