Both Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor are two young talents who have proven their mantle as actors in several films. Rajummar, in particular, is a critically acclaimed and National Award-winning actor. In the past, the two shared the screen space with the 2021 horror comedy film Roohi, which failed to impress the critics and the audiences.
Now, the two are coming up with another project titled Mr and Mrs. Mahi. The film is directed by Sharan Sharma who earlier helmed Janhvi’s Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. It is produced by Zee Studios and Karan Johar‘s banner Dharma Productions. Recently, the makers announced that the film will be released on 15 March 2024.
Sharan and Janhvi’s last venture, Gunjan Saxena, was released during the pandemic on Netflix and met with mostly positive critical response. Fans of both Rajkummar and Janhvi are really excited about the film ever since it was announced a while back.
Rajkummar Rao & Janhvi Kapoor’s Future Projects
Recently, Rajkummar Rao started filming for Stree 2 with Shraddha Kapoor. He is also portraying the role of Srikant Bolla in Sri. Srikant is a blind industrialist. He is also going to appear in Raj & DK’s web series Guns & Gulaabs. Janhvi, on the other hand, has several films in the pipeline like Bawaal (with Varun Dhawan), Ulajh, and her Telugu debut Devara.
