Rajkummar Rao to kickstart the second schedule of Hindi remake of Telugu film Hit from Oct 20

Rajkummar Rao is expected to begin the second schedule of Dil Raju Productions and Bhushan Kumar’s Hindi version of a Telugu thriller Hit in Mumbai on October 20 after completing the first schedule.

According to a source close to the project, the team has already begun working on the Mumbai schedule, and Rajkummar Rao will begin filming on Wednesday. According to the source, the crew plans to wrap up the city schedule in the first week of November, and then take a break for Diwali celebrations before moving on to the third schedule, which would most likely take place in Manali.

Earlier, in a statement, the actor talked about being a part of HIT. He had said, “When I saw HIT, I instantly connected with it. It’s an engaging story, relevant in today’s environment. As an actor I am always on the look out to play characters I haven’t explored and HIT gives me a chance to do that. I’m looking forward to take this journey with Sailesh and Dil Raju.”

The film, directed by Sailesh Kolanu and starring Sanya Malhotra, is a cop drama. The Telugu adaptation of Hit – The First Case was the filmmaker’s directorial debut. Bhushan Kumar, Dil Raju, Krishan Kumar, and Kuldeep Rathore are producing the thriller, while Telugu actor Nani and Prashanti Tipirmeni produced the original.
