Nitesh Tiwari, the National Award-Winning Filmmaker, is all set to bring the epic tale of Ramayana to the big screen with a star-studded cast. Ranbir Kapoor will play Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi will play Sita, and Yash will play Raavan in the ambitious trilogy that is expected to release in the second half of 2025.
List Of Rumours Around Ramayana Floating In Media
As per reports in Zoom, there are many reports floated by section of media around much anticipated project Ramayana. It is important to note that there has been no official announcement regarding the project yet.
There is no other cast member locked except Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi. Heaps of rumours around Yash, Lara Dutta, Harman Baweja and Sunny Deol. Also there was rumour around official announcement of the film on Ram Navami which is also untrue.
Then there was rumour around film getting delayed due to costume issue! And this is really dumbest rumour in recent times.
Makers will announce the project when everything is in place as they are still busy locking so many internal modalities.
Ramayana first part to go on floors next month, release on Diwali 2025
The first part of the Ramayana Trilogy will go on floors next month in Mumbai and will be shot from April to July, before entering the post-production stage. The film is produced by Nitesh Tiwari with Namit Malhotra (DNEG), the Oscar Winning VFX company, who will also design the world of Ramayana with cutting-edge technology. A dedicated team of the best VFX artists will work exclusively on Ramayana for 500 days starting from July. “It’s the most technically advanced feature film of Indian Film,” a source told.
