Ranbir Kapoor CONFIRMS Animal As A Trilogy, Alia’s Return In Brahmastra 2; Actor To Shoot Ramayana Part 2 Soon – Interesting Details Inside

Ranbir Kapoor is having a busy year with multiple exciting projects that have fans eagerly waiting. After the blockbuster success of Animal in 2023, the actor has shared some thrilling updates about the film’s future. Meanwhile, his portrayal of Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana is also creating a buzz. 

In his recent conversation with Deadline Hollywood, Ranbir shared major updates on his upcoming projects. Read on to know!

Ranbir Reveals Animal Will Become A Trilogy

Ranbir Kapoor confirmed that Sandeep Reddy Vanga‘s Animal will be developed into a trilogy. Sharing his excitement, he said,  “The director is making another film right now. We should start that film (Animal Park) in 2027. He just kind of flirted with what he really wanted to do with the movie. He wants to make it over three parts.”

He also shared more details about the second instalment. “It’s very exciting because now I get to play two characters, the antagonist and the protagonist. So, an extremely exciting project and extremely original director, and very excited to be part of it,” he added.

Alia Bhatt Set To Return In Brahmastra 2

Ranbir also confirmed that Alia Bhatt will return in Brahmastra Part Two: Dev. While he did not reveal much, the confirmation has sparked excitement among fans of the fantasy epic directed by Ayan Mukerji.

As we know, Ayan is currently working on Hrithik Roshan starrer War 2 and will return to direct Brahmastra Part Two after the project wraps up.

Ranbir Kapoor To Begin Ramayana Part 2 Shoot Soon

Ranbir spoke about his role in Nitesh Tiwari’s ambitious project, Ramayana. He described playing Lord Ram as a “dream come true” and revealed that the first part of the film is already complete.

He said, “I am currently working on a film called Ramayana, which is India’s greatest story. It’s made over two parts. It’s the story of Lord Ram and Raavan, and to say it to this new generation with the kind of technology that we have is very exciting.” Ranbir added that he will start shooting for Part 2 soon.
