Ranbir Kapoor, who won the Best Actor award for his performance in ‘Animal‘ at the Filmfare awards, surprised everyone with his ‘Animal‘ act on stage. The actor, who was seated in the front row, shouted at the hosts Karan Johar and Ayushmann Khurrana, when they asked him for help.

In a video that has gone viral on social media, Karan is heard saying, “Ranbir hi kar sakta hai, Ranbir hi karega, Ranbir ko hi karna chahiye, Ranbir must help us (Only Ranbir can do it, only Ranbir will do it, only Ranbir should do it, Ranbir must help us).” To this, Ranbir replied, “Sunayi de raha hai, behra nahi hoon main (I can hear you, I am not deaf).” His response left Karan and Ayushmann speechless.
While Ranbir’s reaction seemed to be angry, it was actually a part of a scripted act, as he was mimicking his dialogue from ‘Animal’. The film, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, is a dark thriller that revolves around a man who has a violent streak. Ranbir’s dialogue from the film had created a lot of buzz among the fans.

Ranbir dedicated the award to Papa Meri Jaan, Rishi Kapoor and daughter Raha
Ranbir also dedicated his award to his late father Rishi Kapoor and his daughter Raha. He said, “The second person I would like to dedicate this award to is Mr Rishi Kapoor – Papa Meri Jaan. Every day I think of you, I remember you. And everything I feel for you, the love, the affection, I try to channelise through this part and I hope you are up there in peace and resting.” He added, “And last but not least my daughter Raha… naughty… you were born and a week later I started principal shooting for Animal and every single day just to come home to you has been the most joyful experience of my life. Mumma and papa are bringing you a bua and a massi (referring to black lady) tonight to play.”

Ranbir is currently working on several projects, including ‘Ramayan‘, ‘Love and War’, and ‘Brahmastra part 2’ He will be seen playing Lord Rama, a warrior, and a superhero respectively in these films.
