About Ranbir Kapoor Starrer Ramayana
In the upcoming film Ramayana, Ranbir Kapoor will portray Lord Ram, starring alongside Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana, under the direction of Nitesh Tiwari. The production team is aiming for a Diwali 2025 release for the movie.
Earlier reports revealed that Nitesh Tiwari would focus on shooting the childhood sequences of Lord Ram, depicting Guru Vasishtha imparting life lessons to Lord Ram and his brothers.
Described as a faithful adaptation of the Ramayana, the film aims not only to captivate visually but also to educate future generations. It is envisioned as a trilogy, with meticulous attention given to every aspect of the ancient epic.
Pinkvilla recently reported that Ranbir Kapoor’s filming for Ramayana will conclude by July, after which he will begin preparations for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love And War, where he will star alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. Ranbir is scheduled to shoot his solo scenes for this project towards the end of 2024.
