Ranbir Kapoor To Adopt A Pure Lifestyle For Playing Lord Rama In Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor, who is set to play Lord Rama in Nitesh Tiwari’s ambitious film Ramayana, has decided to turn down drinking and eating meat completely for the role. The actor wants to feel “as pure and clean as Sri Rama” and is ready to undergo a voluntary teetotalism during the shooting of the film.

A source in the know told Koimoi that the cast is being tutored into a “self-restrained lifestyle” during the shooting.

“While Sai Pallavi who will play Sita has a very clean, controversy-free image, Ranbir Kapoor is a bit more, shall we say, colorful in his conduct. Not quite the wild child, but he is certainly no Sri Rama in his personal life,” a source reveals.
