Karan Johar‘s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is one of the most awaited Bollywood films of this year. It is coming on the 25th anniversary of Karan as a director. The film will also mark his return to the director’s chair after nearly seven years. The marketing of the film is in full swing as the makers have so far released a teaser, a trailer, and two songs. One of them is What Jhumka.
Now, both Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt have recreated the hook step from the popular track for a promotional video. In a video that’s been doing the rounds on social media, the duo is racing inside the office of Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. They stop at a point and all of a sudden, start doing the hook step of What Jhumka. The video also has Karan looking perplexed at them. The caption of the video read, “POV: When you simply have to make it in time for the Beat Drop!!!”
Both Songs Have Been Chart Busters
Last month, the makers released the first song from the album of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, which was a romantic track titled Tum Kya Mile. The song was sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Arijit Singh and was picturised on the lovely mountains of Kashmir. It was in the top spot of YouTube India’s trending list. Recently, another song titled What Jhumka was released. It is a modern rendition of Asha Bhonsle’s classic song Jhumka Gira Re.
About Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani
The film is produced and directed by Karan Johar and written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan, and Sumit Roy. It stars Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi. Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani will release theatrically on 28 July.
