Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar The Revenge Enters Grammy Consideration Race In 9 Categories

Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar The Revenge is taking its next big swing far beyond the box office. Months after the film’s March 19, 2026 theatrical release, the Aditya Dhar directorial has entered the Grammy consideration race, with T-Series and B62 Studios pushing the soundtrack and multiple songs across nine categories. The move puts composer Shashwat Sachdev’s music front and centre as the film looks to convert commercial momentum into awards-season attention.

Grammy Consideration Push Confirmed

The campaign gained traction on Friday, October 9, after chatter around the film’s Grammy presence began circulating online. That speculation ended once T-Series publicly confirmed that Dhurandhar The Revenge had been submitted for Grammy consideration. At this stage, the film has not landed nominations. The submissions are part of the Recording Academy’s awards process, which means the entries must still clear eligibility checks and move through voting rounds before nominees are finalised.

The soundtrack itself has been submitted in Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media, with Shashwat Sachdev credited on the campaign listing. That category recognises the overall body of musical work created for a film.

The Nine Categories In Focus

The individual song push is where the campaign becomes especially aggressive. Phir Se has been submitted in Best Song Written for Visual Media. Jaan Se Guzarte Hai and Kanhaiyya have both been entered in Best Global Music Performance. Aari Aari is in contention for Best Asian Pop Music Performance.

The list continues with Jasmine Sandlas and Satinder Sartaaj’s Jaiye Sajana, which has been submitted in Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. Destiny, Mann Atkeya has been entered in Best Rap Performance, Vaari Jaavan in Best Dance/Electronic Recording, and Hum Pyaar Karne Wale in Best Remixed Recording. For a mainstream Hindi tentpole, it is a notably wide Grammy play.

Film Details And Box Office Context

Dhurandhar The Revenge is a Hindi-language spy action thriller directed by Aditya Dhar and produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, with T-Series backing the music campaign. Ranveer Singh headlines the sequel, with the cast also featuring Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan and Sara Arjun. The film followed the story world established in Dhurandhar and expanded its revenge-driven espionage arc on a much larger scale.

The film released in cinemas on March 19, 2026, and emerged as one of the year’s biggest commercial performers, further boosting the soundtrack’s visibility.

Ranveer Singh’s Recent And Upcoming Work

For Ranveer Singh, this Grammy consideration push adds another high-profile chapter to a commercially strong phase. Before Dhurandhar The Revenge, he was seen in Agent Ching Attacks in 2025 and Singham Again in 2024. In 2025, he also led Dhurandhar, the first film in the franchise that reset his box office trajectory in a big way.

As of October 10, 2026, Dhurandhar The Revenge stands as his latest confirmed release. No later confirmed theatrical release has overtaken it yet, which makes this awards-season push a timely reminder that Singh’s recent run has not just been about scale, but also about keeping his films in the conversation long after release.
