’83 is a multi-starrer which with Ranveer Singh stars Ammy Virk, Saquib Saleem, Pankaj Tripathi, Jatin Sarna, Harrdy Sandhu, Adinath Kothari amongst others in the pivotal roles.
The movie is based on the real story of 1983 Cricket World Cup, wherein India brought home Victory. During this first World Cup victory, Kapil Dev was leading the team India as a captain. Ranveer Singh will be seen donning the character of Kapil Dev in the movie.

’83 is a Kabir Khan directorial which also has Deepika Padukone playing Romi Bhatia (Kapil Dev’s wife). The movie is slated to release in April 2020.
