For T-Series as Presenter of the film, the success of ‘Irumudi’ also marks another significant step in its expanding association with South Indian cinema.
Within days of Irumudi hitting theatres, Ravi Teja found himself at the centre of a full-blown industry celebration. What began as audience appreciation has now spilled across social media, with Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Nagarjuna, Nani, Vijay Deverakonda and Chiranjeevi all publicly cheering the film, its emotional pull and the actor’s latest big-screen moment.
Released on August 21, 2026, Irumudi is directed by Shiva Nirvana and places Ravi Teja in an emotionally layered father-daughter story shaped by family, faith and personal transformation. The film features Priya Bhavani Shankar, Sai Kumar and Baby Nakshathra in key roles, with Mythri Movie Makers producing and T-Series Films presenting the Telugu drama.
Industry Backs Ravi Teja And Shiva Nirvana
Sandeep Reddy Vanga was among the first major voices to post about the film, calling attention to both its emotional core and its lead performances. He wrote, “MASS MAHARAJA RAVI TEJA sir, BABY NAKSHATRA & SIVA NIRVANA takes us on an unforgettable emotional ride.❤️ IRUMUDI is truly one of a kind film for this generation which stays with us even after end titles.” He added, “Congrats to Ravi Teja garu & Shiva Nirvana for a SUPERHIT.”
Nagarjuna joined the applause with a concise message that quickly became part of the film’s victory lap online. He posted, “Dear @RaviTeja_offl congratulations on the blockbuster #irumudi”.
Nani brought a more personal note to the conversation, writing, “When people own you. Their love just needs a reason to show up.” He followed it with, “This win of Ravi Anna is a true celebration:) Shiva’s success feels personal:) Congratulations to Mythri, @gvprakash and the whole cast and crew for this memorable success.”
Vijay Deverakonda also added his voice, posting, “What a glorious atmosphere in the Telugu cinema halls.” He called Irumudi “a must watch for the gripping storytelling and the message,” and sent “Biggest celebratory hugs to Ravi Teja garu, Shiva Nirvana and Mythri Movie Makers.”
Chiranjeevi’s message kept the celebratory momentum going. He wrote, “Ravi…..Thank you. Congratulations to you for #Irumudi.. Hearing wonderful response about it.. Looking forward to watch it soon!!”
T-Series Adds To The Film’s Celebration
T-Series Films, which presents Irumudi, has also publicly joined the celebrations around the film. That matters because the banner’s endorsement extends the buzz beyond a routine release cycle and helps push Irumudi into a wider all-India conversation. With Ravi Teja fronting the film and Shiva Nirvana delivering an emotionally rooted story, the project has given T-Series another visible foothold in its expanding South cinema slate.
Ravi Teja’s Recent And Upcoming Work
For Ravi Teja, Irumudi arrives at a notable moment in his career. His recent releases include Mr. Bachchan in 2024, Eagle in 2024 and Tiger Nageswara Rao in 2023, all of which kept him active across commercial and action-driven spaces. He was also seen in Waltair Veerayya in 2023 in a major ensemble success. Looking ahead, Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi remains one of his confirmed upcoming Telugu projects. The response to Irumudi gives this phase a different energy, with the conversation shifting back to Ravi Teja not just as a crowd-puller, but as a performer who has struck an emotional chord again.
Right now, that is the real story around Irumudi. It is not just running in theatres, it is creating the kind of warm, loud and affectionate buzz that turns a release into a moment, and puts Ravi Teja squarely back in the centre of the Telugu cinema spotlight.
