As we reported earlier, Shah Rukh Khan bought four floors in a lavish apartment owned by Bhaganis. Now, the superstar and his family are preparing to move out of their famous Mumbai home Mannat as it undergoes major renovations.
The actor, along with Gauri Khan and their children, will reportedly stay in a luxury apartment in Pali Hill during this time.
SRK’s Mannat Set For Big Revamp
Renovation work at Mannat is set to start in May and could take up to two years. Reports suggest that the plan includes adding two extra floors to the annexe.
Gauri Khan had sought approval for this from the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA) last year. Fans who gather outside Mannat to catch a glimpse of SRK might have to wait until the work is completed.
Shah Rukh Khan To Pay Rs 24 Lakh Per Month For The Rented House
While the renovation is underway, the Khan family will shift to a high-end apartment in Pali Hill. The residence reportedly belongs to producer Vashu Bhagnani and has been leased by SRK’s production house, Red Chillies Entertainment.
Sources reveal that Shah Rukh has signed a leave-and-licence agreement with Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh, who co-own Puja Casa and are the children of Vashu Bhagnani.
The new home may not be as grand as Mannat, but it is said to be spacious enough to accommodate the family, security, and staff. Reports suggest that SRK will be paying Rs 24 lakh per month for the four floors he has leased. However, there has been no official statement from the Khan family or the Bhagnanis.
