Bell Bottom, starring Akshay Kumar and set to hit theaters on July 27, has been pushed back to August 19. The star announced the revised release date on social media. Bell Bottom is directed by Ranjit M Tewari and stars Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta, and Huma Qureshi in prominent parts.
Assuring his fans that he is returning to thrill them, Akshay wrote on Twitter, “Mission: To Entertain you on the BIG SCREEN Date: August 19, 2021, Announcing the arrival of #BellBottom! #BellBottomInCinemasAug19.”

The espionage thriller is ‘inspired by true events,’ according to a short video clip released alongside the release date announcement, which depicts Akshay as a RAW Agent and the entire ensemble of the film walking against the backdrop of an aircraft.

Bell Bottom was initially scheduled to hit theaters on May 28, but it was postponed owing to the second wave of coronavirus. The makers then set their sights on July 27, but because several states refused to loosen their limitations on the opening of movie theaters, they pushed the date back to August 19.
