REVEALED! Here’s How Akshay Kumar & Salman Khan Reacted On NOT Being A Part Of Sequels To Bhool Bhulaiyaa And No Entry

Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan are 'cool' with Bhool Bhulaiyaa and No Entry sequels being made with different cast. Check out their reaction!

Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan were part of the very first films in the Bhool Bhulaiyaa and No Entry franchises, respectively. However, they are not in the sequels, and fans might want to know how they reacted to it.

Filmmaker Anees Bazmee recently shed light on the indifferent reactions of Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan towards the sequels of their popular films Bhool Bhulaiyaa and No Entry. Bazmee, who is currently helming No Entry 2 and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, spoke candidly about the stars in an interview with Lehren Retro.

Akshay Kumar Is Unaffected With The  Cast Change In Bhool Bhulaiyaa Sequels

When asked if Akshay Kumar felt affected by his absence in the upcoming Bhool Bhulaiyaa sequel, Bazmee revealed that he remains in close contact with the actor.

“I have made two of the most beautiful films of my life with him – Singh Is Kinng and Welcome,” Bazmee said.

Reflecting on the decision behind the casting, he added, “For Bhool Bhulaiyaa, it was the decision of the producers. If you ask me, I always want to work with him. He is such a good actor and we are good friends. It is such a small thing for him. He is such a big star that if he isn’t doing a film, it is others’ loss not to cast him, but it isn’t a loss for him.”

The original Bhool Bhulaiyaa, directed by Priyadarshan and released in 2007, featured Akshay Kumar alongside Vidya Balan, Rajpal Yadav, and Paresh Rawal. For the sequels, Kartik Aaryan steps into the lead role with Bazmee at the directorial helm. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is slated for a Diwali 2024 release.

Salman Khan Is Also ‘Cool’ About No Entry 2 Being Made With A Fresh Cast

Turning to the No Entry sequel, Bazmee addressed the absence of Salman Khan and the changes in the cast. He noted that he and Salman had not discussed the matter. “Me and Salman are such good friends that if he had something in his heart, he would have told me. If he isn’t saying anything that means that it makes no difference to him. I met him just last week. Whether we do a film or not, it makes no difference to our equation,” Bazmee stated.

The original No Entry, released in 2005, starred Salman Khan alongside Anil Kapoor and Fardeen Khan. The sequel, however, features a completely new cast with Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan, and Arjun Kapoor taking on the lead roles.
