Ajay Devgn’s recent appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show has been making headlines. The Bollywood superstar, who is currently promoting his upcoming film Bholaa, was on the show with co-star Tabu when host Kapil Sharma congratulated him on the success of the song Naatu Naatu, which won an Oscar for Best Original Song at the 95th Academy Awards.

Ajay, who had a cameo in the film RRR, in which the song was featured, jokingly claimed credit for the win, saying, “RRR ko Oscar jo mila hai, wo meri wajah se mila hai.” He added that if he had danced in the song, it would have been even better.

 

The song Naatu Naatu, composed by MM Keeravaani, beat tough competition from other nominees such as Lift me Up from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and This Is Life from Everything Everywhere All At Once to win the coveted award.

Ajay Devgn has had a successful year professionally, with his roles in the blockbuster film Drishyam 2, as well as RRR and Gangubai Kathiawadi. He was also awarded the Best Actor National Award for his performance in the period drama Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior.

The actor is now looking forward to the release of Bholaa, which hits theatres on March 30. Fans are eagerly anticipating his latest project, which also stars Tabu. With such a successful career and a great sense of humor, Ajay Devgn remains one of the most beloved actors in Bollywood today.
