Sonakshi Sinha and Riteish Deshmukh are the most recent performers to jump on board the horror-comedy bandwagon, a genre that has recently gained traction among Hindi moviegoers. They’re working together for the first time on Ronnie Screwvala’s next untitled project, which is reported to be similar in premise yet distinct from other Indian horror comedies.
Recently, according to an update on PeepinMoon, Saqib Saleem has joined the RSVP Productions cast. The actor will be seen romancing Sonakshi, who is rumoured to be playing a ghost hunter in the film. Kakuda is the intriguing title of the film, which will be directed by Marathi filmmaker Aditya Sarpotdar.
The recent reports states that the shooting schedule for the film has been pushed back by around a month and a half. Originally expected to begin construction in September, the project will now begin construction on the 16th of this month. To shoot this medium-budget, real-event-inspired fictional drama, the producers have planned a 40-day start-to-finish schedule in Rajasthan.
