Now, the work is all set to resume in Hyderabad next month where Saiee will be joining the cast and crew of her first bilingual film. Stating the challenges of shooting for a film based on a real-life incident, Sashi said, “None of us were present at the spot, but it was the big news for several days. The challenge lies in bringing authenticity to our imagination and projecting it as a feature film rather than a documentary.”
Recalling the bomb blasts, Saiee added, “I was quite young and barely understood what was happening, but deep down I knew something wrong was being done to us and was curious to know what exactly was going on regardless of whether I could comprehend it or not. I will never forget the sight of people bleeding and crying on TV with the sounds of guns blasting and explosions going off.”
Sharing her excitement Saiee also took her social media and shared, “Honoured, humbled and excited to be a part of the braveheart, Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan’s biopic. It’s a film based on the NSG Commando, who fought with utmost bravery in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. Can’t wait to join the cast and start shooting next month!”
Major, produced by Mahesh Babu, also stars Sobhita Dhulipala.
