Salman Khan spoke to the media after a long time on Monday. During a press conference, the Bollywood superstar discussed his collaboration with Telugu icon Chiranjeevi. Not only did the Dabangg actor appreciate Chiranjeevi, but he also praised Ram Charan’s work in his new film, RRR. Salman also mentioned how well-received South films are in Bollywood. Why don’t Hindi films do well in the South, questioned the superstar.
Opening up about working with Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi, Salman said, “It has been a wonderful experience working with him. I have known Chiru Garu for the longest time. He has also been a friend.”
The superstar further heaped praise on Ram Charan as he added, “His son (Ram Charan) is also a friend. He has done such a fantastic job in RRR. I just wished him his birthday and on the success of his film. I am very proud of him. It feels so good that he is doing so well.” Though Salman is happy about the success of RRR, the superstar has a concern. “But I wonder why our films are not doing so well in the south. Their films are doing so well here,” mentioned Salman.
Salman Khan’s most recent film appearance was in Antim: The Final Truth, which he co-starred in with his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma. The actor will next be seen in Tiger 3 alongside Katrina Kaif. With Telugu actor Chiranjeevi, the superstar also has Godfather. Aside from these films, Salman has a cameo in Siddharth Anand’s Pathaan, which also stars Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham.
