Salman Khan and Nayanthara’s first big-screen collaboration is shifting into a hard action mode in Mumbai. After wrapping the Manali leg of their yet-untitled entertainer with director Vamshi Paidipally, the team is now readying a city schedule built around pursuit sequences, vehicle action and close combat.
The film brings Salman’s Hindi cinema pull together with Nayanthara’s pan-India presence, with Dil Raju backing the project under Sri Venkateswara Creations. The Mumbai leg gives the Eid 2027 entertainer one of its most physically charged chapters so far.
Salman Khan And Nayanthara To Shoot Mumbai Action Blocks
The next schedule begins on June 10 in Mumbai. The unit will shoot key portions across locations in and around Bandra, using the neighbourhood’s cityscape for action that involves both leads.
“The team will shoot across multiple outdoor locations in and around Bandra because the sequences require the texture and scale of an urban setting. The sequences, featuring both leads, include chases, vehicle-based action, close-quarter combat, and crowd-heavy moments,” said a production source.
The schedule also includes a major set-piece centred on Salman Khan. An insider shared, “It’s one of the film’s major action pieces. It begins as a pursuit and gradually escalates into a confrontation.”
After the Mumbai schedule, the unit moves to Hyderabad in July for the next leg of filming.
What We Know About Vamshi Paidipally Film
Vamshi Paidipally directs the yet-untitled film, which stars Salman Khan and Nayanthara in lead roles. The project is being mounted as a large-scale action entertainer for a 2027 theatrical release.
The makers have kept the plot under wraps, but the confirmed schedule places the film’s action grammar firmly in the world of chases, confrontation and crowd-led momentum. With Mumbai and Hyderabad lined up as major shoot bases, the film is being shaped on a broad commercial canvas.
