Salman Khan Congratulates Nikhat Zareen For Clinching Gold At World Boxing Championships, Says ‘When You Met Me…’

Khan took to Instagram on Monday, March 27, to express his pride and admiration for the "golden girls".

Bollywood actor Salman Khan has congratulated Nikhat Zareen, Lovlina Borgohain, Nitu Ghanghas, and Saweety Boora for their outstanding performance at the World Boxing Championships. The women’s boxing team has won four gold medals at the championship and dominated their respective weight categories. Khan took to Instagram on Monday, March 27, to express his pride and admiration for the “golden girls”.

Posting a picture of the four champions, Salman Khan wrote, “When u met me last u had promised me u will win again and u have done that. So proud of u Nikhat. Many congratulations to you all on winning the women’s world boxing championships.. @zareennikhat @nitughanghas @lovlina_borgohain @saweetyboora (sic).”

Nikhat Zareen, who won a gold medal at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England, recently recreated Salman Khan’s popular song “Saathiya Tune Kya Kiya” from the film Love, with the actor himself. The boxing champion shared a video of the performance on Twitter and expressed her gratitude to the Sultan actor for giving her a memorable “fan moment”.

Salman Khan’s next project is Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, which is produced by Salma Khan and directed by Farhad Samji. The film stars Salman Khan, Venkatesh Daggubati, Pooja Hegde, Jagapathi Babu, Bhumika Chawla, Vijender Singh, Abhimanyu Singh, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, Jassie Gill, Shehnaaz Gill, Palak Tiwari, and Vinali Bhatnagar. The movie promises to deliver all the quintessential elements of a Salman Khan blockbuster, including action, drama, and romance. It is set to hit theatres on Eid 2023.
