Just yesterday, it was disclosed that Salman Khan had embarked on a trip abroad for a brand commitment. Notably, he was reported to be travelling in a bulletproof vehicle, indicative of heightened security measures amidst the ongoing concerns.
Man Arrested After Booking A Cab From Salman Khan’s Home
The shootout, believed to have been planned by gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, has prompted swift action from Mumbai Police. A key development emerged as authorities arrested a man who had arranged a cab under Lawrence Bishnoi’s name, transporting him from Salman Khan’s residence to the Bandra police station.
The individual in question, identified as Rohit Tyagi and hailing from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, has been remanded to the custody of Bandra Police for two days.
ANI recently reported that a 20-year-old suspect, Rohit Tyagi from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, has been apprehended in connection with the shootout near Salman Khan’s residence. Tyagi allegedly booked a car under the guise of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, from Galaxy Apartment to Bandra Police Station, as confirmed by Mumbai Police sources. He has been placed in Bandra Police custody for a two-day period.
Meanwhile, it is also said that an alarming tip was received by the Mumbai Police control room regarding a potential threat linked to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The tip-off prompted immediate action from authorities, who swiftly contacted local police stations to address the situation.
Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde’s Support To Salman Khan And His Family
Following the shootout, Maharashtra’s Chief Minister Eknath Shinde paid a visit to Salman Khan and his father, Salim Khan, offering assurances of unwavering support for the actor. Chief Minister Shinde vowed that the perpetrators would face justice, reassuring the public of the government’s commitment to their safety.
Further complicating the investigation, two suspects, Sagar Pal and Vicky Gupta, were arrested in Bhuj and subsequently brought to Mumbai for interrogation. According to a report by News 18, the duo allegedly received an advance payment of Rs 1 lakh from Anmol Bishnoi to carry out the shooting, with the promise of an additional Rs 3 lakh upon completion of the task.
