Salman Khan flies off to Hyderabad for a shoot despite Police commissioner stating death threats to the superstar are serious

The actor was photographed with armed police guards and his own security detail at Mumbai's Kalina airport.

An official stated that a Mumbai Police squad went to Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s home in suburban Bandra on Monday and increased security around the premises, a day after the actor and his father, Salim Khan, received an anonymous letter threatening to kill them. On Monday, Salman traveled to Hyderabad amid increased protection. The actor was photographed with armed police guards and his own security detail at Mumbai’s Kalina airport. According to reports, he has traveled to Hyderabad to resume filming on his forthcoming film.

Salim Khan, a renowned writer, was resting on a bench at the Bandra Bandstand after a morning stroll when he received a letter from an unknown guy threatening to kill him and his actor-son.

Salim Khan later contacted the police with the help of his security people, and an FIR was filed at the Bandra police station under section 506-II (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code. According to ANI, criminal Lawrence Bishnoi has been interrogated in this matter. He had threatened the actor previously.
