Salman Khan gets emotional as he reveals his career was revived by Boney Kapoor

During the IIFA 2022, Salman Khan talked up about his tough times.

The 22nd edition of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards featured Salman Khan as one of the hosts. On June 3 and 4, the star-studded event took place on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. During his hosting stint, Salman Khan became emotional and confessed that it was Boney Kapoor who had assisted him when his career had hit a hard patch a long time ago.

During the IIFA 2022, Salman Khan talked up about his tough times. Speaking at the event, he said, “He has helped me throughout my life. When my career hit a rough patch, Boney Kapoor gave me a film called Wanted. After that, he gave another film, No Entry, which marked the comeback of Anil Kapoor. Boney ji has helped me a lot, for which I will always be thankful.”

Salman recounted several memories from his past at IIFA 2022. He mentioned wanting a pair of stone wash jeans, boots, and a purse from Suniel Shetty’s Mischief store. Salman, on the other hand, could not afford it. Suniel then proceeded to give it to Salman. Speaking about the same, Salman said, “When I didn’t have any money, actor Suniel Shetty had a shop called Mischief and I was eyeing a pair of stone wash jeans, boots, and a purse. I knew I couldn’t afford it because I didn’t have money. But Anna saw my eyes and decided to gift me what I yearned.”
