
Salman Khan has collaborated with a Gurugram-based Elan group, run by Akash Kapoor and Ravish Kapoor, and adopted the Khidrapur village in Maharashtra.
The village was ravaged by the floods last year. The actor had promised to rebuild the home of those affected.
Recently Rajendra Patil Yadravkar, cabinet minister in the Maharashtra government, announced through his Twitter that the work on 70 affected houses has finally begun. He also mentioned Salman Khan.
According to a report, the state government has given Rs. 95,000 while rest of the experience is taken care by Salman and Elan Foundation.
Meanwhile on the work front Salman will next be seen in Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai.
