Sam Bahadur: Banda Song Teaser Ft Glimpses From Life Of Vicky Kaushal As Sam Manekshaw; WATCH

Sam Bahadur, starring Vicky Kaushal in titular role and directed by Meghna Gulzar, is based on the life and career of Sam Manekshaw, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest military leaders of India. He was the chief of the Indian Army during the 1971 war, which resulted in the creation of Bangladesh. He was also the first Indian officer to be promoted to the rank of field marshal in 1973.

The film also features Fatima Sana Shaikh as Indira Gandhi, the prime minister of India during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan War, and Sanya Malhotra as Silloo Manekshaw, Sam’s wife.

Banda song teaser from Sam Bahadur out now

The makers of Sam Bahadur, the biopic of India’s first field marshal Sam Manekshaw, have released the teaser of the second song from the film, titled Banda. The song, composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and sung by Shankar Mahadevan, which will be out tomorrow is set to show the glimpses from the life of the legendary army officer.

The song teaser shows glimpses of Vicky Kaushal, who plays the titular role, in different ages and stages of his life from a young cadet to a military leader. The first line of the song is, “Sabka Banda hai ye.”

Vicky Kaushal Starrer Sam Bahadur’s First Song ‘Badhte Chalo’ Is A Tribute To The Indian Army

The makers of ‘Sam Bahadur‘, released the first song from the film, titled ‘Badhte Chalo’. The song, composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy and penned by Gulzar, is a motivational anthem that celebrates the courage and spirit of the Indian Army. The song features Vicky Kaushal, who plays the titular role.

The song showcases Sam Manekshaw as he leads his troops in various battles and operations. The song starts with a dialogue, “Wars padhna mera kaam hai aur unhe jeetna bhi” as he motivates his army men and prepares them for the war. The song also pays homage to the different regiments and units of the Army, by incorporating their unique war cries in the chorus. The song is sung by Shankar Mahadevan, Vishal Dadlani and Divya Kumar, who lend their powerful voices to the stirring lyrics.

Sam Bahadur is slated to release on December 1, 2023, clashing with Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal. The film is produced by Ronnie Screwvala under the banner of RSVP Movies.
