Sanjay Dutt’s Intense Entry On Dhurandhar Sets Goes Viral Online
A video circulating online shows Sanjay Dutt on the sets of Dhurandhar, which stars Ranveer Singh and is directed by Aditya Dhar, who created Uri. In the video, Dutt bursts out of a jeep wearing a white kurta and heads straight into a police station, gun in hand, in true Baba style.
The shooting schedule likely conflicted with the launch of Housefull 5, but it seems Baba was prioritising this action sequence in the spy-thriller.
Two Opposite Roles, One Diverse Star
It’s rather funny that the actor has such opposite roles in the two films.
In Housefull 5, he plays a strange cop involved in a murder mystery on a luxury cruise. One of the best parts of the trailer is Dutt’s face squished against a car window during a chase and Jackie Shroff saying hilariously,
“Choti Bachhi Hai Kya?”
That’s a throwback to son Tiger Shroff’s famous dialogue from Heropanti.
But in Dhurandhar, the actor is on a different side of the law, apparently playing a lead villain in relation to Indian intelligence operations.
Dhurandhar vs Housefull 5 – Dutt’s 2025 Double Whammy?
While Sajid Nadiadwala’s Housefull 5 is set for release on June 6, 2025, Dhurandhar is likely to release later this year. Dhurandhar also stars R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal and more and promises to be a fast-paced action thriller with geopolitics.
For now, Housefull 5 continues to trend on the internet with a manic trailer and a massive ensemble cast of 24 people, including Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Chitrangada Singh and others.
Box Office Worldwide Verdict
Sanjay Dutt’s absence from Housefull 5‘s trailer launch may have led to speculation.
However, his red-hot Dhurandhar clip establishes him as an instantly unforgettable character. The actor’s gift for moving between dumb, mass comedy to gripping, hard-hitting, issues-based drama continues to receive accolades.
With two LIONHEARTS lined up, perhaps Baba’s going to have another moment in 2025!
