Helmed by Anurag Basu, Aashiqui 3 is an upcoming romantic film starring Bollywood heartthrob Kartik Aaryan. It has Pritam as music composer. It is a sequel to Aashiqui that was released in 1990. Aashiqui and Aashiqui 2 performed well at the Box-Office.
It was previously reported that Sara is in talks to join Aashiqui 3, the actress reportedly revealed that she has not been offered the movie yet. However, she also stated that she would love to do the film if given the opportunity. “I haven’t been offered Aashiqui 3 as yet but I would love to. If I am offered the film then yes, sure,” ConnectFM quoted her as saying.
Sara and Kartik previously worked together in ‘Love Aaj Kal’ and fans were excited about the prospect of them reuniting on-screen for ‘Aashiqui 3’. However, Kartik has already been confirmed as the male lead in the film, while the makers are yet to finalize the female lead.
In his statement to Variety, Kartik expressed his excitement about working on ‘Aashiqui 3’. He called it a dream come true and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to collaborate with Bhushan Kumar and Mukesh Bhatt. The actor also revealed that he is a big fan of director Anurag Basu’s work and is looking forward to working with him on this project.
The makers of ‘Aashiqui 3’ have not yet made an official announcement about the cast of the film. However, fans are eagerly waiting to see whether Sara Ali Khan will be joining Kartik Aaryan in this highly anticipated project.
