Sarfira stars Akshay Kumar alongside Radhikka Madan and Paresh Rawal in pivotal roles. Directed by Sudha Kongara and Shalini Ushadevi, with dialogues penned by Pooja Tolani, the film features music by GV Prakash Kumar.
It is produced by Aruna Bhatia of Cape of Good Films, along with South superstars Suriya and Jyotika’s 2D Entertainment, and Vikram Malhotra of Abundantia Entertainment.
The film, a Hindi remake of Suriya’s Soorarai Pottru, tells the story of Rani, portrayed by Radhika Madan, a Maharashtrian girl navigating the complexities of the business world while striving to launch a low-cost airline. The narrative promises to delve deep into themes of ambition, determination, and breaking societal barriers.
As Akshay Kumar’s character boldly declares in the trailer, “Main aam aadmi ke liye cost nahi, caste barrier bhi todna chahta hoon” (I want to break not only the cost barriers but also caste barriers for the common man).
