According to a source, “The makers felt his comedy timing is impeccable, and his presence even for a few minutes will elevate that particular sequence.” While specific details about his role remain under wraps, fans are buzzing with excitement to see Akshay in two films at once.

Akshay isn’t the only star making a cameo in Stree 2. The teaser has already confirmed that Tamannaah Bhatia and Varun Dhawan (as Bhediya) will also make special appearances. The internet is already abuzz with anticipation.

Director Sandeep Kewlani announced the film’s wrap-up on Twitter in April 2024, sharing a celebratory picture with Akshay and the cast and crew. Despite the 100-day shooting schedule, Akshay completed his part in just 60 days, demonstrating his dedication and efficiency.

Akshay Kumar teams up with Taapsee Pannu in this comedy-drama directed by Mudassar Aziz, known for Happy Bhag Jayegi and its sequel. The film also stars Vaani Kapoor, Ammy Virk, Aditya Seal, Pragya Jaiswal, and Fardeen Khan. Khel Khel Mein revolves around three couples in a series of comedic mishaps, promising a hilarious ride for the audience.
On the other hand, Sky Force is an action-packed drama that honours the Indian Air Force by showcasing one of their most significant victories. Produced by Maddock and Jio Productions, the film is based on true events and marks Akshay Kumar’s first collaboration with Dinesh Vijan. “This film celebrates the heroics of our Air Force officers and their historic achievements,” said a source close to the production.
Written by Sandeep Kewalani, with screenplay and dialogues by Aamil Keeyan Khan and Niren Bhatt, Sky Force is set to hit theatres on October 2, 2024.
