Sources close to the production shared insights into Sunny’s role with Pinkvilla, describing it as larger-than-life and perfectly aligned with his iconic on-screen image.
Sporting a special look featuring a light beard and moustache, Sunny Deol is set to bring his trademark intensity to this heroic role.
A source close to the project said, “The team has chosen the title Jatt to reflect the aura of Sunny’s character. It’s a heroic role that aligns perfectly with Sunny Deol’s on-screen image.”
Sunny Deol’s Jatt To Wrap Up By Early September
Scheduled for a marathon shooting schedule, Jatt is anticipated to conclude filming by early September, promising a grand cinematic experience under the direction of Gopichand Malineni.
Known for his directorial prowess with films like Bodyguard and Veera Simha Reddy, Malineni marks his first collaboration with Sunny Deol on this ambitious project.
The film’s musical score will be composed by S Thaman, with Rishi Punjabi handling cinematography duties and Avinash Kolla overseeing art direction. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with People Media Factory, Jatt signifies a significant addition to both Sunny Deol’s and Gopichand Malineni’s filmographies.
Sunny Deol’s Upcoming Projects
Apart from Jatt, Sunny Deol remains busy with other high-profile projects. He is currently involved in Lahore 1947, produced by Aamir Khan and directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, featuring co-stars such as Preity Zinta and his son Karan Deol. Additionally, Deol has announced the sequel to the blockbuster Border, titled Border 2, directed by JP Dutta.
Looking ahead, Sunny Deol is preparing for the monumental role of Hanuman in Ranbir Kapoor’s highly anticipated Ramayana.
Discussions are also underway for an action thriller with director duo Abbas Mustan. A source close to the actor revealed, “Sunny is expected to complete filming for Jatt by early September, after which he will shift focus to Ramayana and Border 2. He is also finalising schedules for Abbas Mustan’s upcoming project.”
