On June 20, Pushpa producers announced their next venture, tentatively titled SDGM, and excitement is palpable across the board. This long-anticipated movie will feature the iconic Sunny Deol in a powerhouse collaboration with Director Gopichand Malineni.
The buzz further intensified with the announcement of popular actress Saiyami Kher as the leading lady.
Saiyami Kher To Play Female Lead In Sunny Deol Starrer
Taking to Instagram, Saiyami shared a series of photos expressing her excitement about the action-packed role alongside Sunny Deol.
She captioned her post, “Time for some serious action. Can’t wait to fight it out alongside the one and only @iamsunnydeol 💪 Really happy that @mythriofficial & @dongopichand sir have shown faith in me for an out-and-out mass action film. Let’s do this! Please wish us luck.”
Saiyami Kher shared her enthusiasm about joining the cast, stating, “I am more than thrilled to be a part of SDGM. The opportunity to work with Sunny Deol, an icon of Indian cinema, is a great honour that often feels surreal and like a dream come true. After Ghoomer, this is a major milestone for me in my career. I have always awaited an opportunity to be part of a proper commercial film.”
She added, “What Gopichand Malineni sir has envisioned for the film is very exciting. I am eager to embark on this journey and bring our story to the audience, breathing life into my character. I would like to thank the producers for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to showcase all my abilities on such a grand platform.”
Regina Cassandra also Joins SDGM Cast
Regina Cassandra has also joined the cast of SDGM, marking another exciting development. She shared her enthusiasm on Instagram, saying, “To new beginnings and new adventures! Kickstarting a very exciting project on an auspicious note with such a legendary company.”
The launch event of SDGM in Hyderabad was a sparkling affair with Sunny Deol, Saiyami Kher, and other members of the cast and crew in attendance.
According to the recently announced schedule, shooting is set to commence on June 22, 2024, promising high-octane action under the skilled direction of Gopichand Malineni.

Produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with People Media Factory, SDGM boasts a solid team behind the scenes. Noted composer S Thaman, celebrated for elevating narratives through music, will score the musical compositions.
Cinematography will be handled by Rishi Punjabi, bringing expertise in capturing the essence of the film frame by frame, while Avinash Kolla will oversee art direction.
