The much-anticipated trailer for Netflix’s upcoming thriller Sector 36 has just been released, and it’s making waves. The film, which stars Vikrant Massey and Deepak Dobriyal, delves into a haunting and intense narrative.
What’s In Sector 36 Trailer?
Set against the backdrop of a harrowing crime, the trailer introduces us to Inspector Ram Charan Pandey, played by Deepak Dobriyal. Pandey is a dedicated family man who becomes entangled in a chilling pursuit of a serial killer. Despite receiving warnings, he refuses to abandon the case, driven by the urgency of saving missing children’s lives.
The killer in question, Prem Singh, portrayed by Vikrant Massey, is a master of disguise, seamlessly blending into society while carrying out his heinous acts. The film unfolds as a high-stakes game of cat and mouse, showcasing a gripping chase between the determined inspector and the elusive murderer.

What Vikrant Massey & Deepak Dobriyal Said About Their Role In The Film
Vikrant Massey shared his thoughts on playing his role in the film. He said, “Stepping into the character of Prem for this film was unlike anything I’ve done before. To convincingly play a layered and terrifying killer who could pass off as any other person has been difficult.”
He added, “Aditya (Nimbalkar) has done a great job in creating this gritty world meticulously. This is an incredibly important film, and as storytellers, alongside Netflix and Maddock Films, we hope the audience will be able to see the need to tell stories like these.”
Deepak Dobriyal also expressed his excitement and stated, “I was captivated by the Sector 36 script from the very beginning. It’s a powerful thriller that brings to light class disparity and how crime thrives when left unchecked.”

Directed by debutant Aditya Nimbalkar and written by Bodhayan Roychaudhury, Sector 36 is produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios. It is set to stream on Netflix from September 13.
The film is inspired by the notorious Nithari serial killings that shocked India in 2006. This real-life case involved the horrific abduction, abuse, and murder of children and young women in Noida.
The prime suspects, Surinder Koli and Moninder Singh Pandher were implicated in these gruesome acts, which included luring victims with sweets, strangulation, and other unimaginable horrors. The remains were discovered in drains and the backyard of their residence, sending shockwaves across the nation.
