Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan is all set to introduce his son Aryan Khan as a director in the upcoming Netflix series Stardom. This project, under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment, marks Aryan’s directorial debut and offers a glimpse into the intricate and vibrant world of Bollywood. Scheduled to release in 2025, the series promises to be a six-episode spectacle combining humor, drama, and a self-aware narrative of the Hindi film industry.

Behind the Scenes of Stardom
Stardom explores the journey of a charming, ambitious outsider trying to navigate Bollywood’s glittering yet challenging landscape. Aryan Khan, who graduated in filmmaking from the University of Southern California, has written and conceptualized the series.
“Set against the backdrop of the film industry, this multi-genre project promises an audacious, unabashed, entertaining ride through the adventures of a charming, ambitious outsider navigating the glitzy yet tricky world of Bollywood,” according to a description provided by Netflix. “The series blends a high-stakes narrative with self-aware humor, featuring blockbuster cameos and larger-than-life characters for an unforgettable, tongue-in-cheek take on Indian cinema.”
Filming for Stardom commenced in mid-2023 and has been carried out in several iconic locations, including Mumbai and Alibaug. According to reports, the final leg of the shoot will include a recreated award ceremony on a grand set in Nariman Point. The series also features cameos by Bollywood stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, and Ranveer Singh, adding to the excitement.
